President Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay an official visit to Turkey on January 29 at the invitation of President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. This was reported by the press service of the Head of State.
According to the visit program, it is planned to hold the fourth meeting of the Strategic Cooperation Council under the chairmanship of the two state leaders in the city of Ankara.
The negotiations will focus on further expanding the comprehensive strategic partnership relations between Uzbekistan and Turkey.
Special attention will be paid to developing political dialogue, increasing trade turnover, advancing cooperation projects in priority economic sectors, and strengthening transport interconnectivity.
Issues of continuing active cultural and humanitarian exchanges will also be considered. Views will be exchanged on current aspects of the international and regional agenda.
At the conclusion of the high-level talks, the signing of a substantial package of documents is envisaged.
Furthermore, the leaders of the two countries will participate in a number of joint events.
