US President Donald Trump has signed an order to impose an emergency regime due to the existence of a threat to national security from the state of Cuba. The White House officially announced this.
According to the order, the United States will have the right to impose additional duties on products imported from countries that supply oil to Cuba or are directly involved in such supplies.
Trump explained this decision by saying that the Cuban government is carrying out actions directed against US interests, and is also cooperating with Russia, China, Iran, and groups such as HAMAS and "Hezbollah".
According to publications, possibilities for completely stopping oil supplies to Cuba, including imposing a naval blockade, are also being discussed in Washington.
