On January 29 at around 18:20, a road traffic accident occurred at the 12th kilometer of the D-069 highway, passing through the territory of the "Jumabozor" neighborhood of the Toyloq district. An Isuzu-branded truck, moving in the Toyloq-Urgut direction, hit a cyclist who was also traveling in that direction.
As a result of the impact, the cyclist fell onto the road. A Damas-branded car moving from behind then ran over him. Consequently, the citizen died at the scene of the incident.
Regarding this incident, the Investigation Department of the Toyloq District DIA has initiated a criminal case, and preliminary investigative actions are being carried out. The Road Traffic Safety Department of the Samarkand Regional DIA called on all road traffic participants to strictly adhere to the rules.
