It is planned to introduce administrative liability for actions aimed at insult, humiliation, and disruption of public order on social networks. This was announced by Alisher Qodirov, chairman of the "Milliy Tiklanish" Democratic Party, via his Telegram channel.
According to him, in accordance with Supplement 1 to be introduced to Article 183 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility, it is envisaged to establish a fine of up to 5 million soums or administrative detention for up to 10 days for actions involving insult, humiliation, and disruption of public and civil order on the internet.
Alisher Qodirov emphasized that combating such negative phenomena in society through education alone is not sufficient.
"Ignorance cannot be fought only with education, fines are also needed. We supported the bill," wrote the party chairman.
