The desire to create a "sensation" on social networks has once again shaken the public in Bukhara region. In a video staged for Instagram at one of the canteens in Peshku district, a citizen was shown hanging by his feet, while a person in the role of a "butcher" circled around him with a knife.
The images, which spread rapidly, caused strong public discontent and sharp debates. According to the regional Department of Internal Affairs, the video was prepared by mutual agreement between the channel admin and the owners of the public catering facility with the aim of attracting customers and gaining popularity on social networks.
According to officials, the actions behind this "hype" violated both the requirements of advertising law and the norms of public order and morality.
The collected materials were reviewed by the Peshku District Court for Criminal Cases, and the violators were found guilty under the relevant article of the Code of Administrative Responsibility. As a result, they were fined an amount equivalent to 7 times the BCA.
