Shavkat Mirziyoyev gave instructions on expanding power grids and commissioning new capacities at a meeting dedicated to energy projects.

In Uzbekistan, a total of 602 kilometers of high-voltage power transmission lines will be constructed in the coming years. This will ensure the uninterrupted delivery of power from newly commissioned generation capacities to consumers.

The meeting also outlined plans to build the "New Angren - Namangan" power grid and new substations by 2030, as well as to construct tens of kilometers of networks in Tashkent city and modernize hundreds of transformer points.

The President criticized the delays in some projects and gave instructions to the responsible persons to accelerate them.
