After the death of Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the country will be managed during the transition period by Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, the head of the judiciary Gholam-Hossein Mohseni-Ejei, and a member of the Council of Guardians of the Constitution. This was reported by the Iranian news agency.

Khamenei's advisor, Mohammad Mokhber, stated that this method of power transition is stipulated in Article 111 of the Iranian Constitution.

It is also worth noting that according to the Iranian Constitution, in the event of the death or inability of the Supreme Leader to perform his duties, his powers are exercised by a temporary council consisting of the three individuals mentioned above until a new leader is elected.
