On March 5 of last year, an Uzbek woman was sexually assaulted by an Azerbaijani individual in Istanbul, Turkey. This was reported by "Halktv".
According to the publication, the incident occurred around 04:33 local time in the Dumlupınar neighborhood of the Kadıköy district. Three Azerbaijani individuals — Tural A., Fuzuli A., and Shirali I. — entered a multi-story house with the intent to commit theft.
Two of the suspects used a ladder to climb to the second-floor balcony of the apartment where 68-year-old Nariman Figen P. lives and entered the house. Their third accomplice took the ladder and left the scene.
While the homeowner, Nariman Figen P., was sleeping in her room, one of the suspects woke her up and demanded to know the location of the safe. Although the woman stated there was no safe in the house, they searched the room and found a safe hidden under the bed.
The frightened woman was forced to hand over the key. The suspects took numerous pieces of jewelry and 10,000 Turkish liras from the safe. They also removed the gold bracelets and earrings the woman was wearing.
The report states that M.K., a citizen of Uzbekistan who works in the house, was also in the apartment at the time of the incident. An investigation is underway regarding the case.
