Children were massively poisoned at a private preschool institution in the Pakhtakor district of Jizzakh. This was reported by the children's ombudsman Surayyo Rahmonova announced.
When the incident was investigated by the regional prosecutor's office, it was found that on August 2nd, the body temperature of I.F. (a girl born in 2020) and S.T. (a girl born in 2019) being educated at the kindergarten, had risen. When taken to the hospital by their parents, the children were diagnosed with food poisoning and were admitted to the infectious diseases department.
Additionally, on the same day, the remaining 14 children being educated at this kindergarten were also placed under the observation of doctors in the infectious diseases department, receiving the necessary treatments. Since no complaints about their health were identified, they were sent home.
During the epidemiological investigation, samples were taken from the food products given to the children at breakfast. A pre-investigation check is currently being conducted.
