Illegal migrants in Russia cannot use banks, get married, or send their children to school. This is reported by zamon.uz, citing the country's Ministry of Internal Affairs here.
“The Russian government is creating a registry of illegal migrants in the country,” — said the first deputy minister of the interior, Alexander Gorovoy.
According to his words, once included in the registry, foreigners will not be able to drive vehicles, use banking services, register property, marry or divorce, or enroll their children in kindergartens and schools.
The exact date of the creation of the registry book was not specified.
A day before, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the country had announced that over 6 million foreign citizens had been registered in Russia's migration system. Last year, this figure was at least 8.5 million.
