First of all, I sincerely congratulate you, my dears, for your worthy participation in the 45th World Chess Olympiad held in Budapest, Hungary, securing an honorable third place among representatives of nearly 200 countries, and opening yet another bright page in the history of Uzbek chess with all my heart.
Your demonstration of high intelligence, strong will, and perseverance in the fiercely competitive and uncompromising competitions, leaving behind teams from renowned countries like China, Serbia, Armenia, Germany, Azerbaijan, Slovenia, Spain, is deserving of great praise and admiration.
In your figures, we see the capability of the youth of the New Uzbekistan to achieve high milestones in such intellectual and thoughtful competitions, filling our hearts with pride and joy.
The high intellectual potential shown in this competition by our sons such as Nodirbek Abdusattorov, Javokhir Sindarov, Shamsiddin Vohidov, Nodirbek Yakubboev, Jahongir Vohidov is very precious to us.
In particular, it's necessary to highlight Shamsiddin Vohidov winning the gold medal and Nodirbek Abdusattorov winning the silver medal in their categories, proving once more their great skill.
Alongside our brave and courageous sons, our passionate chess-playing daughters such as Afroz Hamdamova, Nilufar Yakubboeva, Umidah Omonova, Marjona Malikova, and Nodira Nodirzhonova also participated commendably in the competitions, defending the honor of our Homeland with all their strength and skill.
Their achievements in the last Olympiad, securing the 12th place among 170 countries are notably worthy of attention. Especially joyful is Nodira Nodirzhonova's accomplishment of winning the silver medal by securing the honorable 2nd place in her category. I sincerely congratulate all of them and wish them to capture the winning places in future competitions.
Indeed, the great success achieved by the Uzbekistan chess masters is an practical result of the high attention directed to the youth in the New Uzbekistan, and our vast reforms in developing sports and its most intellectual type - chess.
Undoubtedly, such successes unite our people even more on the path of noble goals, serving as a source of inspiration for thousands and thousands of our youth.
