The number of Germans who have come to Uzbekistan has increased by 5,200.

According to the Statistics Agency, in January-August 2024, 23,000 German citizens visited Uzbekistan for tourism purposes.

This figure has increased by 5,200 or 29.4% compared to the same period in 2023.

During January-August 2024, the purposes of the visit of German citizens to Uzbekistan were as follows:

• vacation – 19,195 individuals;
• visiting relatives – 2,817 individuals;
• official trip – 951 individuals;
• business – 50 individuals;
• study – 28 individuals;
• treatment – 7 individuals.
