A vehicle under civilian control entering through the “Gishtkoprik” border customs post for passage to Uzbekistan was duly subjected to a customs inspection in the prescribed manner. This was reported by the Press Service of the Tashkent region Customs Department.
As a result of the customs inspection, it was discovered that in the cargo compartment of the vehicle, there were 16 packs containing 2,800 pieces of 5.5 mm caliber pneumatic weapon pellets that were not declared in the passenger customs declaration and not mentioned during the verbal inquiry.
Currently, investigative actions regarding the situation are ongoing.
