A person who showed snakes in a kindergarten in Tashkent region was fined. This was reported by the “Milliy” TV channel's “Millar” programhere.
On January 20, a video circulated on social networks showing children being shown poisonous snakes. The Department of Preschool and School Education of Tashkent region announced that the event had taken place on January 16 in the 7th state preschool educational institution in Piskent district.
This show was organized by H.A., an employee of the “Toshkent” amateur circus team, which is part of the Olmaliq city “Kumush diyar” private company, who had approached the district department of preschool and school education at the beginning of the academic year with a letter and program to display circus shows in educational institutions. The officials had authorized these shows. Animal acts were not included in the display program.
According to the court's verdict, H.A. was found guilty under Article 200−1 of the Administrative Responsibility Code (violating the rules of conducting public events). Based on this article, he was fined ten times the basic calculation value (BCV), which amounts to 3 million 750 thousand UZS.
