A video that sparked widespread discussions on social media networks has been spread. It documented the kidnapping of a girl in a Cobalt car by several unidentified individuals.
According to the information from the press service of the Capital's Department of Internal Affairs, available at this link, the victim's identity has been established. She is a girl born in 2004, identified as I. Currently, she is being assisted by psychologists and internal affairs officers.
The identity of the young man who organized the theft has also been established. He turned out to be a guy named A., born in 1994, who colluded with his acquaintances.
"The first theft occurred near my home. You can see three of them in the video. Later, as they explained to me, he did not want to be caught on camera. I still have some remaining minor scars. Due to a head injury, I often suffer from headaches," said the girl.
A criminal case has been initiated on the matter under Article 137 (kidnapping) and Article 138 (illegal use of violence depriving of freedom) of the Criminal Code. All individuals involved in the kidnapping have been identified and arrested. A pre-trial restraint in the form of detention has been applied to them.
"This case is under the supervision of the Chief of Tashkent City's Department of Internal Affairs. A legal decision will be made after the investigation is concluded," the report says.
