On social networks, a video regarding a mass brawl that occurred at school number 285 situated in the city of Tashkent and an incident where a student's back was broken has been spread. The Tashkent city Department of Pre-school and School Education has commented on this situation.
As noted, yesterday, on January 30th, around 10:15 AM, during the break, a student of 11th grade, class “D”, O.K., was standing in a corridor on the second floor of the School No. 285 in the Yangihayot district when he got into a scuffle with a student from 11th grade, class “B”, E.K. As a result, O.K. hit E.K. once in the face, and other students joined the ensued brawl. Upon learning of the incident, the school's administration immediately pressed the “panic button” installed at the school. The security service personnel and an inspector-psychologist arrived at the school in a short time and stopped the mass disorder. Thereafter, the inspector-psychologist, senior lieutenant N.O., attached to the school, formalized the relevant documents regarding this incident and took the students involved in the brawl to the preventive inspector's office located in the “Bright Life” neighborhood. There, preventative explanatory works were carried out with the students and their parents.
It is reported that two students from the same school's 11th grade, A.J. and S.M., involved in the brawl, have sought medical attention. The condition of the students is good, and they have been sent home. Currently, law enforcement agencies are conducting investigations regarding the above-mentioned situation.
