The construction of another object that does not meet the standard requirements was stopped in Tashkent district of Tashkent region, reports the Ministry of Construction and Housing and Communal Services here.
The control inspection under the Ministry conducted a control measure in the 9-story building being constructed on KHY road. It was found that changes were made to the project of the object, specifically, the requirements of the project were not followed during the internal brick laying processes, and in some places, gas blocks were used instead of bricks.
According to the inspection specialist Hikmatilla Sa’dullaev, this may negatively affect the building in case of seismic activities in the future. Additionally, it was discovered that an additional floor had been illegally added to the building, and the demolition works have begun.
At the end of the situation, all construction works were halted on-site. Written instructions were given to demolish the works carried out contrary to the project requirements, and the process has started, the report says.
