The Islamic Development Bank signed a grant agreement worth 40 million dollars for school education.

Within the scope of this project, 58 new inclusive schools will be built, and the quality of preschool education is also planned to be improved.

Representatives of the Ministry of School and Preschool Education participated in the “Human Capability Initiative 2025” international forum in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

 Uzbekistan is the only country among the Central Asian states invited to this prestigious event.

On the first day of the forum, the Ministry of Preschool and School Education of Uzbekistan signed a $40 million grant agreement with the Islamic Development Bank.

During the meeting with Muhammad Al-Jasser, the President of the Islamic Development Bank (IDB), he noted the IDB's pleasure in being a reliable partner of the Uzbekistan government in creating better educational opportunities for the future generation.

The main directions of the project are as follows:

- construction of 58 new inclusive schools throughout our republic;

- equipping schools with modern facilities;

- programs for improving teachers' qualifications;

- development of inclusive education;

- improvement of educational programs;

- enhancing the quality of preschool education.
