Blue Origin's NS-31 mission successfully launched the first all-female tourist crew into space and returned to Earth successfully. This was the 31st flight of the New Shepard rocket, which is being noted as a significant turning point in the company's history, as reported by zamon.uz.
The suborbital journey, broadcast live, lasted approximately 10-12 minutes. During the flight, the participants experienced several minutes of weightlessness and had the opportunity to observe Earth from space.
This historic mission included pop star Katy Perry, renowned journalist and television host Gayle King, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos's sister-in-law and journalist Lauren Sanchez, former NASA engineer Aisha Bow, bioastronautics expert Amanda Nguyen, and film producer Keriann Flynn among its participants.
Blue Origin has called this mission the most important female flight since Valentina Tereshkova's first woman in space mission in 1963. The mission is also another successful demonstration of reusable rocket and capsule technologies.
