This amount will grant a residence permit in Uzbekistan for a period of 5 years.

According to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on "Measures to Encourage Production, Export, and Entrepreneurial Activities, and to Increase the Efficiency of Trade and Industrial Policy," from October 1, 2025, the excise tax on white sugar without flavoring or coloring additives imported into the territory of Uzbekistan will be abolished.

Legal entities with 20 or more workers are allowed to make staggered payments of accrued tax amounts for property and land taxes, as well as for rental payments, on July 15 and December 1 of 2025.

In addition, according to the Presidential Decree, entrepreneurs providing general catering services are required to generate at least 80 percent of their income from the sales of goods (services) in order to refund a part of the VAT paid.

Furthermore, the duration of the obligation for industrial enterprises to be equipped with an automatic monitoring station, dust and gas cleaning equipment, local water treatment facilities, and a stationary observation post has been extended as follows:

For Category I enterprises – until January 1, 2026;

For Category II enterprises – until July 1, 2026.

From June 1, 2025, foreign citizens and stateless persons, as well as each family member (spouse, children, and parents), will be granted a residence permit in Uzbekistan for a period of 5 years on a simplified basis in exchange for payments of 200,000 US dollars and 100,000 US dollars, respectively.
