As reported, the incident occurred in October 2024.

It was discovered that a 33-year-old man was drinking alcohol with his uncle, leading to a dispute between them. As a result, the accused beat his uncle, effectively ending his life, and then set the house on fire. At the time, the defendant's aunt was also in the dwelling and died due to the fire. 

The case was examined by the criminal court of Samarkand city. 

According to the court's verdict, the defendant was found guilty of committing a crime under several relevant clauses of Article 97, Section 2 of the Criminal Code, and by applying Article 59, a sentence of 23 years imprisonment was imposed through partial cumulation of the sentences.
