From April 21-25 this year, the International Mathematical Olympiad for school students took place in the capital of Turkmenistan, Ashgabat city. This was reported by “Dunyo“ news agency.
It was reported that about 250 talented students from 15 countries competed in this knowledge competition. The members of the Uzbekistan team actively participated and honorably defended the honor of our country.
As a result of the II International Mathematical Olympiad, Uzbekistani students won a total of 17 medals - 4 gold, 9 silver, and 4 bronze medals. This result once again demonstrated the high level of knowledge and preparation of our children. Javokhir Mamakulov, Azizbek Mamajonov, Abdulaziz Rajabov, and Mehmombok Amanov were among the gold medal winners.
Last year, at the International Mathematical Olympiad held in Turkmenistan, the Uzbekistan national team won 9 medals.
