On May 14, Wednesday, at around 11:03 AM, the Tashkent city Emergency Situations Department received a report about a fire at a warehouse located on Nilufar Street in the Sergeli district. This was reported by the MES here.

Videos showing black smoke rising into the air have been circulated on social media.

Fire and rescue crews arrived at the scene at 11:05 AM, with a total of 12 crews deployed to extinguish the fire. The fire was surrounded by 12:15 PM and completely extinguished by 1:31 PM.

Emergency Situations Minister Botir Qudratkhojaev and his deputy Sanjar Zuparov arrived at the scene.

There is no information about any victims. The causes of the fire and the extent of the damage are currently being determined.
