Shavkat Mirziyoyev expressed condolences to the people of India.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan announced that there were no Uzbek citizens on this flight.

The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev sent a condolence letter to the President of the Republic of India Draupadi Murmu and the Prime Minister Narendra Modi due to the airplane crash that occurred in the area of the city of Ahmedabad, resulting in numerous fatalities and serious injuries. This was reported by the President's press service. 

Our country's leader expressed deep condolences to the families and relatives of the victims and to all the people of India, wishing a quick recovery to the injured. 

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, according to the initial information received, stated that there were no citizens of Uzbekistan on board of the flight it was informed.

On June 12th, a Boeing 787 Dreamliner passenger aircraft of Air India flying from the city of Ahmedabad to London encountered a crash shortly after take-off it was reported.

According to the Times of India, there were 242 people on board, including 2 pilots and 10 flight attendants. A rescue operation is underway at the crash site.
