The incident of cruelty that occurred in a non-state family kindergarten located in the city of Olmaliq, Tashkent region, has stirred public outrage. Videos circulating on social networks show a 2-year-old girl—minor O.M. (born in 2023) being beaten by a caregiver.

The Children's Ombudsman has taken control of the situation and announced the launch of an official investigation.

According to available information, on July 16, 2025, the aforementioned girl was struck by the kindergarten caregiver K.G. The child suffered injuries to the left side of her face.

The Olmaliq City Department of Internal Affairs is currently conducting pre-investigation procedures. Additionally, a forensic medical examination has been appointed to assess the bodily injuries inflicted on the child.

The Ombudsman continues to monitor this case and has stated that legal measures will be taken against actions violating the child's rights, with further updates to be provided.

The public is demanding strict oversight and accountability of responsible parties regarding child safety issues.
