Japan's ruling coalition lost its majority in the upper house elections. However, the ultranationalist "Sanseito" party achieved a significant victory. The party advocates for stricter immigration policies.

According to experts, the disorderly behavior of foreign tourists, especially those staying in Airbnb rentals and disregarding local rules, is causing dissatisfaction among citizens.

"Sanseito" leader Sohei Kamiya: "The Japanese should develop with their own capabilities. There is room for those who follow the rules, but not for the inconsiderate," he says.

Experts believe that negative attitudes toward foreigners are increasing amid economic downturn, inflation, and concerns in foreign trade.
