The Central Bank announced the official exchange rates of foreign currencies against the soum starting from July 28.
According to it, 1 US dollar was set at 12,581.73 soums, becoming cheaper by 71.75 soums. The exchange rates of the euro and the ruble also fell.
For reference, prior to this, the dollar exchange rate had risen for three consecutive days, reaching 12,762.53 soums. The lowest official exchange rate of the dollar since the beginning of the year was recorded on June 24 at 12,410.99 soums.
