Conversations with ChatGPT may be handed over to the government. OpenAI CEO Sam Altman reported this.

According to the report, chats with ChatGPT are not protected by confidentiality. Despite this, conversations with artificial intelligence can now be accessed by government officials.

However, the founder of OpenAI explains it as follows: "If you discuss your most sensitive issues with ChatGPT and some legal process begins later, they may force us to disclose this information, and I consider this very wrong."

Similarly, conversations with doctors, lawyers, and psychotherapists are professionally confidential, but such rules do not yet exist for artificial intelligence. According to OpenAI's founder, a confidentiality concept should also be established for conversations with AI.

Today, many young people use the ChatGPT platform as a therapist, life coach, or relationship advisor. Unlike messengers, OpenAI can read your conversations with ChatGPT, and company employees use this data to improve the model.

For reference, according to OpenAI's policy, remote chats in free and paid versions of ChatGPT are completely deleted within 30 days unless they need to be preserved for security reasons.
