A person engaged in the sale of electronic tobacco products in the Chilanzor district of the capital Tashkent has been detained. This was reported by the Information Service of the Department for Combating Economic Crimes under the Prosecutor General's Office.

It was noted that the individual was involved in the illegal trade of tobacco products in the Chilanzor district. Citizen U.Kh. was detained while selling 255 units of five types of electronic tobacco products, manufactured abroad without proper documentation, to M.K. for 40 million soums, and these products were seized as material evidence.

In connection with this incident, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 186-1 of the Criminal Code (illegal production or circulation of ethyl alcohol, alcoholic beverages, and tobacco products), and investigative actions are being carried out.
