Schools and kindergartens will start the "Week Against Forced Labor."

From August 15, large-scale inspections against compulsory labor conditions will be conducted in educational institutions.

According to the announcement by the Ministry of Employment on August 14, the "Week Against Forced Labor" will commence across Uzbekistan in schools and kindergartens starting August 15.

Labor inspections will carry out monitoring measures to identify cases of teachers and educators being subjected to forced labor.

According to the Ministry, administrative measures have been applied against officials found responsible for nearly 10 recent violations of the law.

Additionally, proposals have been submitted to relevant authorities to eliminate the causes leading to such situations.

Previously, a video surfaced showing teachers in Andijan being forced to participate in school renovations, resulting in the school principal being dismissed.
