German climbers rescued at an altitude of 4000 meters

Two German climbers stranded in the Swiss Alps were forced to wait for help for one night and day.

Their rope got stuck on the mountainside, and due to bad weather, rescuers attempted to reach them several times.

However, they were unsuccessful. Later, Italian rescuers retrieved the climbers by helicopter and reported their condition to be satisfactory.

For reference, since the Breithorn mountain is located on the border between Switzerland and Italy, the rescue operation was carried out by the Italian side. The German publication Welt also reported on the incident.
