During the state visit of King Abdullah II ibn Al-Hussein of Jordan to Uzbekistan, a number of important documents were signed, including an agreement on the introduction of a visa-free regime.
This will allow the citizens of Uzbekistan and Jordan to enter and exit each other's countries without visas.
The parties also signed more than 15 documents in areas such as trade, transport, agriculture, higher education, customs, religious cooperation, and investment protection.
New agreements were also reached between the two countries on air traffic and the extradition of criminals.
