On the night of September 2 of this year, the city of Rostov came under a drone attack. Subsequently, a dangerous explosive object was discovered in one of the residential buildings, and people were temporarily relocated to a school building.

According to the acting governor of the Rostov region, Yuri Slusar, an "unexploded shell" was found in an apartment of one of the city's multi-story buildings.

To ensure the safety of the population, 320 citizens were evacuated and temporarily housed in a school building.

The type of shell and the reasons for its origin have not yet been disclosed.

It was also reported that on the night of September 2, the city of Rostov came under a drone attack, a fire broke out near the western outskirts of the city and the village of Krasny Krym, which was quickly extinguished.

As a result of the attack, several buildings in the city were damaged, and three adults and one child sought medical attention.

According to a statement from the Russian Ministry of Defense, 13 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) were shot down during the attack.
