On September 24, cases of child poisoning were recorded in several preschool educational institutions in the Piskent, Bo'ka, Bekobod, Quyichirchiq, and Oqqo'rg'on districts of the Tashkent region. The Prosecutor General's Office issued an official statement regarding the situation.

It is reported that a criminal case has been initiated under Part 1 of Article 257-1 of the Criminal Code (supply of substandard food products) against the responsible persons of a private company providing outsourcing services, and preliminary investigative actions are currently being carried out.

The criminal case has been taken under control by the Prosecutor General's Office, and a special working group has been established under the leadership of First Deputy Prosecutor General Bahodir Valiev. During the investigation, all children in the preschool institutions supplied with food by the outsourcing companies are undergoing medical check-ups.

According to officials, there are currently no children in serious condition among those who received medical help, and the situation is under the supervision of doctors.

Furthermore, in order to prevent such cases, comprehensive inspections have been launched regarding the supply of food products to all state preschool educational institutions.

It is planned that additional information on the results of the investigation will be announced in the mass media.
