A 27-year-old Uzbek woman living in Moscow, Sherekhon Usmanova, changed her surname to "Shoigu" and introduced herself as a relative of Sergei Shoigu, Secretary of the Russian Security Council. She is suspected of embezzling large sums of money from citizens under the pretext of investing in cryptocurrency.

According to TASS sources, the woman and her husband obtained over 100 million rubles through a criminal scheme and then disappeared. A criminal investigation for fraud has been initiated against her.

According to the victims' lawyer, Said Yarakhmedov, the number of fraud victims and the amount of damage caused could be twice as high. At the moment, law enforcement agencies are preparing documents to initiate a criminal case against the suspects.
