Today, on October 9, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived on an official visit to the capital of the Republic of Tajikistan — the city of Dushanbe.
The state leader was solemnly greeted at Dushanbe International Airport by the Prime Minister of Tajikistan Kohir Rasulzoda and other officials.
Within the framework of the visit, President Mirziyoyev is scheduled to participate in the second summit of the "Central Asia — Russia" format and the upcoming meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Commonwealth of Independent States.
These meetings will discuss regional cooperation, security, trade and economic relations, and other pressing issues.
