The President of the Republic of Finland, Alexander Stubb, will be in Uzbekistan on an official visit on October 30-31, 2025.
This was announced by the press service of the President of Finland.
As part of the visit, a meeting with the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, will be held in Tashkent on October 31. During the talks, issues of bilateral relations between the two countries, geopolitical processes and their impact on Europe and the Central Asian region, as well as supporting multilateral cooperation will be discussed.
It is emphasized that during his visit, Alexander Stubb will participate in a business seminar, deliver a lecture at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, and meet with foreign policy experts.
The report states that the former President of Finland, Mauno Koivisto, officially visited Uzbekistan approximately 33 years ago - in 1992.
