According to a report by the German broadcaster n-tv, citing a source, China is not only restricting direct supplies, but also attempts to import via third countries – including the Baltic states and Poland.
According to the source, Beijing has banned the export of engines, batteries, and control modules necessary for drones to the Baltic states, as it is well aware that these components would ultimately be delivered to Ukraine.
These restrictions are seriously impacting the unmanned aerial vehicles used by the Ukrainian armed forces on the front line. Currently, the majority of the main technical components for Ukrainian drones are manufactured primarily in China.
