At the invitation of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President Alexander Stubb of Finland will pay an official visit to Uzbekistan from October 29 to November 1.
According to the visit program, high-level talks will be held in Tashkent, during which pressing issues of further expanding multifaceted cooperation between Uzbekistan and Finland, primarily in political, trade-economic, investment, and cultural-humanitarian spheres, will be discussed.
Special attention will be paid to increasing mutual trade volumes and establishing cooperation in agriculture, ecology, chemistry, energy, digitalization, mining, and other innovative sectors.
Issues of cooperation in the spheres of labor migration, culture, and the introduction of advanced technologies into the education system will also be considered.
Views will also be exchanged on pressing issues of international importance, including mutual support within multilateral structures.
