It is reported that an employee of the Andijan Regional Department of Internal Affairs, having learned that his fellow student received low grades on exam tests, entered into a conversation with him aimed at material gain and demanded 2 million 700 thousand soums in exchange for arranging good grades without retaking the exam tests through the university dean.

However, the student reported the law enforcement officer's illegal actions to the Personal Security Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for Andijan region, explaining the entire situation. During an operational measure carried out by employees of the regional personal security department, the law enforcement officer of the Andijan Regional Department of Internal Affairs was caught while receiving money from his fellow student.

After that, the law enforcement officer requested the continuation of the operational measure, stating that another person was involved in this case, namely a citizen born in 2001 working as a manager at the university, who promised to arrange good grades, and that the requested money was to be given to this person. Based on the application, the operational measure was continued, and the university employee was caught by the participants of the measure with evidentiary items while receiving 2 million 500 thousand soums, and relevant procedural documents were formalized against him.

It is reported that regarding the situation, by the relevant order of the Andijan Regional Department of Internal Affairs and in accordance with subparagraph "a" of paragraph 144 of the Regulation "On the Procedure for Service by Employees of Internal Affairs Bodies of the Republic of Uzbekistan", the law enforcement officer has been dismissed from the internal affairs bodies, and pre-investigation actions are being carried out on the collected documents.
