On December 29, another telephone conversation took place between U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin. This was announced by White House Press Secretary Caroline Levitt.
According to her, Trump concluded the conversation with Putin on the issue of Ukraine in a positive spirit. It is noted that this conversation is the tenth telephone contact between the two leaders since the beginning of 2025.
For reference, Putin and Trump last spoke by phone just a day earlier, having agreed to contact again after the conclusion of a meeting scheduled with Vladimir Zelensky at Mar-a-Lago.
