In Uzbekistan, as part of the healthcare system reform, the system of remuneration for medical workers is being fundamentally renewed. Starting from January 1, 2026, the monthly salaries of sector representatives have been increased by an average of 15 to 30 percent.
Furthermore, incentive payments based on the KPI system, depending on work efficiency and treatment outcomes, can be up to 50 percent of the salary.
It is noted that the wages of nurses and junior medical staff will also be increased by an average of 20 percent.
These changes are outlined in the decree of the President of Uzbekistan "On measures to support medical and pharmaceutical personnel" adopted on November 9, 2025.
