During a rapid operation conducted by the Tashkent City DIA Directorate for Combating Crimes in the Field of Information Technology, illegal bot activity on Telegram was exposed. It was determined that through it, along with the trade of narcotic substances, operations for the acquisition, transfer, and exchange of crypto assets were carried out.
During the measures carried out in Yunusabad district, A., born in 1997, Sh., born in 2001, and T. were detained. Through the bot under their management, approximately 95 thousand transactions were conducted, and a total crypto asset turnover of 2 million 375 thousand dollars was recorded. During the investigation, phones, laptops, bank cards, SIM cards, narcotic substances, and potent drugs were seized as material evidence.
Regarding the case, a criminal case has been initiated based on the relevant articles of the Criminal Code, and the preventive measure of detention has been applied against the suspects.
