According to Iran's "Fars" news agency, two people were killed and about 30 were injured in the unrest that occurred on January 7.

Demonstrators attacked police officers with stones and hunting weapons, damaging several administrative buildings, including the district government building.

We recall that on January 5, at least 35 people were killed and more than 1,200 were arrested in protest demonstrations in Iran. The reason for the protests is the sharp decline in the value of the Iranian rial and economic difficulties.

Security measures have been strengthened in the region, internet traffic has been temporarily restricted, and the police are actively working to identify and apprehend the organizers of the unrest.
