President of the Republic of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, officially welcomed President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev at the Presidential Complex in Ankara.
An honor guard was lined up in honor of the high-ranking guest, and the national anthems of the two states were performed by a military orchestra. The heads of state passed in front of the honor guard and met with members of the official delegations.
At the same time, restricted-format talks between the presidents are taking place. Issues of further developing Uzbekistan-Turkey comprehensive strategic partnership relations are being discussed.
