In Turkey, the "Uzbekistan" residential complex has been opened.

The President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the leader of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan participated in the opening ceremony of the residential complex built by Uzbekistan in Hatay province.

On February 29, as part of an official visit to Ankara, the Presidents of Uzbekistan and Turkey opened the "Uzbekistan" residential complex built in the Arsuz district of Hatay province, the presidential press service reported.

It is reported that this complex, intended for the population affected by the earthquake, consists of 24 multi-story buildings and more than 300 fully furnished apartments. The project includes all necessary infrastructure.

Speaking at the ceremony, Shavkat Mirziyoyev emphasized that Uzbekistan did not leave Turkey alone in difficult times, noting the active participation in rescue and medical assistance processes.

Recep Tayyip Erdoğan stressed that this complex is a bright symbol of friendship and brotherhood between the Uzbek and Turkish peoples. The state leaders ceremonially handed over the keys to the new houses to their owners.
