Due to this, several flights from Uzbekistan were forced to turn back.
According to information, the following 5 flights returned to their airports:
- Flight 7Q4461 ("Fly One Asia") on the Andijan – Medina route to Andijan airport;
- Flight 7Q4461 ("Fly One Asia") on the Medina – Tashkent route to Medina airport;
- Flight HH901 ("Qanot Sharq") on the Tashkent – Dubai route to Tashkent airport;
- Flight 2U7706 ("Fly Khiva") on the Medina – Andijan route to Medina airport;
- Flight 9S3302 ("Air Samarkand") on the Jeddah – Tashkent route to Jeddah airport.
It was previously reported that a plane of the "Qanot Sharq" airline, which had taken off from Tashkent to Dubai, also returned due to the closure of Iranian airspace.
