There are no citizens of Uzbekistan among those injured in Iran. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported this.

According to the diplomatic mission in Tehran, there are currently a total of 81 citizens of Uzbekistan in Iran. Among them:

8 persons — employees of diplomatic missions;

9 persons — students studying in the city of Qom;

55 persons — citizens permanently residing in the territory of Iran;

9 persons — those who traveled on private trips.

The embassy is in constant contact with the compatriots and ensures regular communication with them, the report says.
