In the Altynkul district of the Andijan region, a person who introduced himself as a prosecutor's office employee was detained while demanding $10,000 from a school director and receiving $4,000. This was reported by the General Prosecutor's Office.
According to the data, the director of vocational school No. 2, under the jurisdiction of the Altynkul district public education department, H.E., appealed to the prosecutor's office department. He stated that a resident of the district named O.M., through A.Yu., who introduced himself as a prosecutor's office employee, promised to obtain a certificate for opening a driver training center at the school and demanded $10,000.
During the operational measure, citizen A.Yu. was caught red-handed with material evidence by the participants of the operation while receiving $4,000 from the suspect O.M.
A criminal case has been initiated regarding this incident under Articles 168 (fraud) and 28, 211 (bribery) of the Criminal Code.
