On May 2, the press service of the Internal Affairs Department reported that a person who spread false information regarding a 14-year-old girl in relation to an internal affairs officer in the city of Ohangaron, Tashkent region, was detained for 7 days.
According to the report, he admitted that the information he spread on the internet was false.
By court decision, he and his two accomplices were found guilty under Articles 183, 194, and 195 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility and sentenced to 7 days of administrative arrest.
“Because a minor girl is involved in the incident, full details have not yet been disclosed. Upon conclusion of the case, administrative measures will be taken against those who spread false information, and criminal liability measures will be applied if it leads to serious consequences,” the report states.
Investigations into the incident are ongoing. Additionally, further investigative actions are being carried out regarding the dissemination of false information and other violations of the law.
